Friday, September 22, 2006 Lioness Sighted! An update to my previous post on Pete's Pond from Botswana, Africa. So today I finally saw a lioness come over to Pete's Pond for a drink! The other day I also saw a leopard, but that was at night-Botswana time, and the camera there relays in B&W at night. So it wasn't that clear. But today just at the break of dawn, the lioness came in majestically for a drink. I was able to record the short movie which you can see at the 'You Tube' link posted below!
