Katie Couric and the Morning Show!
Initially I did not have cable, as I could not afford it. And then later on as I finished my course requirements, I stopped getting up that early to go to classes. And thus I stopped watching 'Good Morning America' 'Today' on NBC hosted by Matt Lauer and Katie Couric. Its been now almost a year that I hadn't switched the channel to NBC in the morning during the news show. Today I switched to the 'Morning Show' to see it at length, and I noticed that Katie Couric has changed so much in the past one year. It seems she looks older now, with some wrinkles visible on her face. One thing that I like about......well actually two things......No wait its three...and yes thats it, the number is not going to increase expotentially :-) So the three things that I really like about Katie Couric:
1. Her smile...though today I felt that she has to make an effort to bring that smile on her face, which was so natural a year back.
2. Her dressing sense! I guess NBC does not tell her what to wear on the show. Her dresses are just so colorful and she is someone who knows well what looks good on her!
3. Her interviewing qualities: She interviews personalities very well, and has a knack of asking difficult questions in a very smooth manner.
In the end, no matter how she looks or smiles, Katie is still one of my favorite anchor persons. Lets say it this way, I LOVE Katie as much as Matt Lauer PISSES me off!!
