Movies in the past week...
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith: I would definitely give it 5 stars...as I am a die hard Star Wars admirer. The movie is well put and due to the gap between the Phantom Menace and this one, even the actors show a much matured performance....especially Natalie Portman, she has really done her part well.
Mr. & Mrs Smith: Except for the last half hour (which is no different than any Mithun or Rajnikanth movie), overall the movie is pretty good. Fast paced and humorous at the right time. Worth enduring the last 30 minutes.
Batman Begins: Really nice movie. 4 stars from my side. The first 40 minutes seem to be a bit slow, but then the movie picks up well. I was apprehensive about seeing a Batman movie, as I had never seen one before. Also I dont like movies which are shot mostly in the night :( Inspite of all this liked it. 3.5 stars to this one. Katie Holmes is cute, but has to work a lot on her acting. I don't think she can make it big on the acting scene. Christian Bale is well suited as Batman but does not go well with the character of Wayne, the day time personality.
Dead Man Walking: Starring Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn: Awesome movie and amazing performance by Susan Sarandon...with the soundtrack of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in the background, the effect is just mesmerizing! Absolutely beautiful....A complete 5 stars to this one.
Anybody a King of the Hill fan?? Im watching it right now and in this one, Bill is dating the Chinese neighbor's (Con) mother!! This one is absolutely hilarious :-)
